OUR HISTORY
Back in 1929 when the City of Groves was young and less than 20 years after the first round of pecan trees were first planted in the city, 15 Catholic families needed a place to worship. When Mr. and Mrs. John DeVillier of Jefferson Boulevard opened their home for Mass, thus begun the History of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
